I also want to note that if you are “gifted” an iPad or Expensive item, you may be able to write that off as an acquired asset, speak to your financial advisor or tax person. If you earn a TRIP you will likely see this expense reflected on your 1099 (so if you’re doing the math and something doesn't add up- its most likely the trip expense.) You can request an itemized breakdown of the trip expenses and write those off accordingly.
